NC grower recalls cantaloupes, melons

FAISON, N.C.

Burch Farms has recalled all melons it grew this year because of possible Listeria contamination.

The cantaloupes and honeydews were sold in 18 states, including North Carolina.

The fruit affected can be determined by stickers that have Burch Farms or Cottle Strawberry on them.

So far, no illnesses have been reported.
