So far, police haven't publicly identified the body. However, family members of 23-year-old Courtney Speight said it is her.
Speight's job may be a clue to a body found Wednesday in a Wilson creek.
"Well, we know that the shirt that they showed us is the shirt that she had on when she was last seen," said a family member.
Speight's family said she was wearing a shirt given to her by her employer, Sheetz, when she was last seen Saturday. Wednesday morning, a body was found across town.
"Someone who was here fishing came across a body, called 911 then led us to where the body was at," said Wilson Police Sgt. John Slaughter.
No information has been released on who it is, or even its gender.
Speight's family haven't said whether they think she was murdered but they are calling for answers.
"I'm just ready to hear what happened," said a family member. "How did she die, and what was the cause of her death."
Police are waiting for autopsy results to positively identify the body.
A Silver Alert was also issued for another person from Wilson, but police said he was found safe.
