Police arrested 22-year-old Damari Harper, of Lawson Street, and charged him with murder.
Several people were walking in the 1400 block of Lawson Street Saturday evening when shots were fired. Two people were hit in the shooting.
Twenty-six-year-old Zacchaeus Ormond and a 30-year-old female were both taken to the hospital. Ormond was pronounced dead at the hospital. The woman was treated for a gunshot wound to the hand.
