Suspect named in Goldsboro double homicide

GOLDSBORO, N.C.

Two men were found dead from gunshot wounds at a home on Devereaux Street, according to police.

Officers arrived at the home and found 47-year-old Donald Mewborn dead in the front yard. After further investigation, officials then found 50-year-old Gary Buckom dead in the backyard of the home.

Angelo Mandril Burden was developed as a suspect. He currently has active warrants for his arrest for two counts of murder.

Both victims will be sent to the North Carolina Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Chapel Hill for autopsies.
