The district posted it just after 8 p.m. Friday, which is about three hours after it had planned to release it.
Wake County parents will now have the weekend to look it over.
Each home is being assigned to an elementary, middle, and high school.
Under this proposed plan, families who are happy with their current school assignments would be allowed to remain at their schools with their current level of transportation until the student completes the final grade at that school.
