Over the weekend, 17 headstones were damaged.
Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives with the Fayetteville Police Department at (910) 433-1856 or CrimeStoppers at (910) 483-TIPS (8477).
Family members needing information on repairing the headstones can contact Bruce Daws, Historic Properties Manager for the City of Fayetteville, at (910) 433-1457.
