Garner police tell ABC11 that 35-year-old Lisa Hess is charged with three counts of statutory rape and two counts of sex offense with a child.
The incidents allegedly happened between July 29 and Aug. 4, of this year while the boy was visiting his mother in Garner. According to authorities, the 14 year old lives in Florida.
Further details about the incidents have not been released.
Hess is currently in custody in Virginia and faces extradition back to North Carolina.
