Jaleah Griffin was killed in July in a head-on crash with Ira Evans.
Tuesday was a day of disappointment for Jasmine Griffin. She came to the Vance County Courthouse for a scheduled appearance by the driver charged with killing her 18-month-old daughter in July.
"She was a loving child, hardly ever cried about anything," said Griffin. "I was just looking forward to our future together."
Evans' case, however, was continued to Nov. 19.
Griffin is disappointed. She wanted to watch Evans face a judge.
"So far, I haven't seen any remorse. So, I would ask him did he realize what he did to me and my family," said Griffin.
Griffin started a Facebook page for Jaleah. She's seeking support for a march in the child's memory.
"This last couple of months have been hard on me, but I didn't want to sit at home and not do anything," said Griffin.
