Jin, a drug sniffing dog for the Selma Police Department, escaped from her pen Saturday on Rody Street in Pine Level.
Jin is a black and tan German Shepherd weighing about 60 pounds. Police say the dog is not considered dangerous to the public.
The Selma Police Department is offering a $500 reward for Jin's safe return.
Anyone who sees Jin is asked to contact police at (919) 965-8189 or dial 911.
