Jeremy John Wahl of 50 Hidden Cove Drive, Valparaiso, Florida, was extradited to Cumberland County after being charged with first-degree statutory sex offense, sexual act by a substitute parent and taking indecent liberties with a minor.
An investigation revealed that Wahl had more than one encounter with the girl between March and April of this year, while he was babysitting her. The 5 year old's mother was at work when the alleged encounters happened, according to authorities.
Wahl is currently being held the Cumberland County Detention Center under a $250,000 bond.
