Bring parcels in quickly. If you won't be home, ask a neighbor to do this for you.
Designate a location that is hidden from view and ask your postal carrier to leave packages there when you are not home.
Have your post office hold mail/packages while you're out of town.
Use a P.O. Box as your shipping address.
Don't send cash. If you send a gift card, copy the gift card number prior to sending in case it's stolen.
If you spot a mail theft, call local police and then the U.S. Postal Inspection Service at 1-877-876-2455.
