Couple busted for allegedly growing pot in home

BURLINGTON

Officers on patrol discovered the marijuana after detecting a strong odor coming from a house in the 500 block of E. Davis Street, according to police.

Pictures authorities took from inside the home showed rows and rows of marijuana. Police said they found 280 plants, along with 59 pounds of harvested marijuana.

Homeowners 57-year-old David Gariano and 52-year-old Diane Hall were arrested at the scene.

Both are charged with trafficking marijuana, manufacturing marijuana and maintaining a dwelling for the sale/use of marijuana.

The pair is each being held on $100,000 bond.
