Reward offered for Durham robberies

DURHAM, N.C.

Investigators said they are not sure if the two robberies are related, but both happened at convenience stores in eastern Durham.

The first robbery was reported just after 9:30 p.m. at New Way Food Mart on Cheek Road on Monday.

The second one happened Wednesday at Durham Mini Mart on Holloway Street just after 11:45 p.m.

According to police, in both cases, there were two robbers and the robbers were armed with guns. The robbers were described as black males in their mid-20s wearing dark clothing and masks.

The suspects in both robberies were last seen walking toward the 600 block of Hardee Street.
