Officers were called to the Orchard Pointe Apartments at 2021 Orchard Hollow Lane after 10 p.m. Sunday.
Authorities spent several hours at the scene and put up crime scene tape across the entrance to one apartment.
After their initial investigation, police said the deceased was a 13-year-old girl and foul play was not suspected.
