Officials with the Town issued the advisory after a 12-inch water main broke near the intersection of Hwy 50/Benson Road and Foxbury Drive on Tuesday.
Customers near the area may have experienced a period of low pressure or discolored water until the leak was repaired. Water service has since been restored.
Officials said based on a potential for contamination, they are advising residents to boil all water before consumption. So far, no microbiological contamination has been found in the drinking water as a result of the incident.
