Edward Hawkins, 26, has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder in relation to a shooting at the Scottish Inn, in the 1700 block of North Garnett Street.
The victims were identified as 34-year-old Kenya Odessa Hodges and 33-year-old Jerome Kearney.
Hawkins was arrested Tuesday afternoon.
At last report, he was being held in the Vance County Jail with no bond.
