Police said the obsessed fan, Barbara Saylor, snuck into the former American Idol runner-up's gated community and hopped a fence surrounding his house.
According to TMZ, it happened on April 3 while the singer was inside the home.
Someone called 911 and police responded.
Saylor is charged with misdemeanor stalking and trespassing. She is due in court April 24.
