Detectives responded to a report of a sexual assault on Sunday around 7 a.m.
As a result of the investigation, detectives obtained warrants against 33-year-old Weldon Jay Davis. His last known address is listed as 2240 Yale St. in Fayetteville.
Weldon was arrested Thursday. Davis was located on the 100 block of Stoltz Road in Parkton, N.C.
He has been charged with second-degree rape, two counts of second-degree sexual offense, first-degree kidnapping, assault by strangulation, assault in the presence of a minor, assault on a female, and communication of threats.
