It happened just before 11 p.m. at Cedar Moor Apartments on Melvid Court near Peyton Street between Poole Road and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.

Raleigh police said two people were shot, but their injuries were not life-threatening.
Police are still investigating the incident and have not released any further details at this time.
