It happened just before 9 p.m. Monday on South Alston Avenue.
Police said 36-year-old Daniel Antwan Osbourne of Durham was trying to make a left turn onto Dayton Street when he collided with a car.

Osbourne was pronounced dead at Duke Medical Center.
Police said no charges have been filed and the accident remains under investigation.
