It happened on the N.C. 55 Bypass at Old Adams Road shortly after 7:30 a.m.

Police said a woman was attempting to turn south onto N.C. 55 from Old Adams Road when a pickup truck going north on N.C. 55 collided with the woman's car.
The pickup truck driver was released after treatment at WakeMed Cary Hospital.
The names of the drivers have not yet been released.
Holly Springs police are still investigating the accident. No charges have been filed at last report.
