It happened Thursday around 2 p.m. on N.C. Highway 157 near the Person County line.
The State Highway Patrol says a milk truck overturned killing one person. Another victim was rushed to Duke Hospital.
The truck was the only vehicle involved in the accident.
There's no word yet on the names of the victims, or what caused the crash.
