The husband of a former Hope Mills woman has been arrested after her body was discovered in their home at Nellis Air Force Base near Las Vegas.

Rickey Massey Jr., 32, was in the Clark County, Nevada jail under a $1 million bond. He's charged with murder.

While officials have not formally identified the body, friends identified Massey's wife as Theresa Rivera Massey - a graduate of South View High School in Hope Mills.

Police said the woman was killed sometime Friday morning. Her body was found by military guards in the couple's garage.

Police said the couple was in a domestic dispute hours before the body was found. No other details were released.

ABC11 has learned the young mother's immediate family members have traveled from the Hope Mills area to Las Vegas to handle arrangements.
