Michael Morones' family said he successfully breathed for 12 hours without assistance.
Morones had a tracheotomy done a few weeks ago, and he still isn't conscious.
His parents say he was tormented so badly because of his love of "My Little Pony" that he tried to kill himself.
Michael hung himself off the side of the bunk bed. His parents got him to the hospital, but oxygen to his brain had been cut off.
