Brother and sister face arson charges in Goldsboro

GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WTVD) -- Stephen Leon Williams and Laketta Shawntell Williams face several counts of felony arson in connection with several fires in Goldsboro.

The fires happened over the last several months.

Stephen Williams is held on a $60,000 secured bond, and faces five counts of felony second-degree arson.

He also faces one count of felony burning personal property, and one count of felony burning other buildings.

Laketta Williams is held on an $80,000 secured bond, and faces one count of felony first-degree arson. She also faces two counts of felony second-degree arson, and one count of felony burning personal property.

Both are held at the Wayne County Jail, and are scheduled to appear in court next week.

Goldsboro Police say the investigation continues, and more charges are forthcoming.
