Big rig crashes on I-85 in Vance County

VANCE COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- The DOT says a tractor trailer crashed on I-85 at exit 220 Sunday morning.

The crash happened close to the U.S. 1 interchange near Henderson just before 8 a.m.

Authorities say the big rig overturned during the crash.

There is no word yet on any injuries.

The left lanes in both directions were shut down for several hours.
