Today is Day 3. Two days and 25,000 steps down, and I'm not sure how I feel.
I hate exercise, I mean, I truly hate it. But once, I hit my 10,000 steps for the day, I do find some satisfaction. Not enough to outweigh the burning white-hot hatred I have for exercise, but I'm hoping that will change. ;)
Also, I'm a little sore. These muscles haven't been used in a while, so stretching them is helping out.
Here's a couple of good stretches from the Arthritis Foundation. But if you're doing this with me and you're sore, you are NOT alone.
Last night, I was able to pick up almost 5,000 steps while coaching a little league game. I knew I walked around a lot at those things, but I didn't know it was that much!

Today, my schedule of activities outside of work is pretty light (no games or family activities), so I will have to make sure and spend sometime walking when I get home. I did pick up over a 1,000 extra steps in a about 15 minutes today. Here's how:
It actually added 1,108 steps and it really didn't cut into my day at all. I gave up 15 minutes of surfing social media. We'll see how tomorrow goes.
As REO Speedwagon said "Keep Pushin'". I know, #oldguy ...
Good luck and keep moving!
