California fire burns nearly 4,000 acres

MONTEREY COUNTY, CA (WTVD) -- A fire burning near Soledad in Monterey County, California has spread to nearly 4,000 acres.

It started Sunday afternoon and is 20 percent contained, according to California fire officials Monday morning.

The rate of speed has slowed down, and no evacuations have been ordered.

The cause is currently unknown.
