SANTA CLARA, Calif. (WTVD) -- It was pretty clear that Panthers QB Cam Newton was not in a good mood after the Super Bowl loss to the Denver Broncos.

In the post-game press conference, he wore a hood over his head and looked dejected while he was being asked questions. He didn't answer some of them, and the ones he did had short responses.

Much of the time he avoided eye contact by looking at the ground or just simply closing his eyes.

He made one final remark before leaving the podium, "I don't know what you want me to say, I'm sorry."

Newton, the NFL MVP, did not have a very good game. He completed less than half of his throws with an interception and no touchdowns. He was also sacked 6 times in the game, a season high.
