Crash closes multiple lanes of I-85 southbound in Durham

DURHAM (WTVD) -- Multiple lanes of Interstate 85 southbound were closed near US 70 in Durham after a crash Saturday evening.

Authorities said the incident occurred around 6:30 p.m. near exit 177, the Avondale Drive exit.

Police had lanes reopened by 8 p.m.

The condition of the victims of the crash is unknown at this time.
