Saw and Win are escorted by police as they reenact their murders of the two British tourists. The suspects wore protective gear in order to protect themselves by potential angry onlookers. DNA samples belonging to Saw and Win were found on the bodies of Miller and Witheridge.

The murders took place on Koh Tao island in southern Thailand. Witheridge was raped by the men before her murder, and the victims' bodies were horribly battered and bludgeoned to death. Another man arrested for the crime still has denied any involvement.
