RALEIGH (WTVD) -- The legacy lives on for one of three Muslim college students shot to death in Chapel Hill earlier this month.
More than a hundred people packed NC State's Carmichael Gym Friday ready to hoop in a three-on-three basketball tournament dubbed "Dunking for Deah"
Deah Barakat was murdered along with his wife and her sister February 10. Police have charged a neighbor who they say was angry over a long-running parking dispute.
Barakat was raising money for a trip to Turkey to help Syrian refugees. Money raised at Friday's tournament will go towards that cause.
