Dog left in hot truck in Walmart parking lot

Hillsborough police were called to the Walmart on Highway 86 on Friday after a dog was left in a hot pickup truck.

Officers quickly realized the door was left unlocked, so they opened it to give the dog water and some air.

Police said the owner was cited for leaving a dog in the truck on a 90-degree day.
