Woman shot on Angier Avenue in Durham in critical condition

DURHAM -- Police are investigating a shooting in Durham Friday night.

It happened in the 2000 block of Angier Avenue around 10 p.m.

Police said 40-year-old Cordilia Woodson was shot while she was walking down the street by an unknown suspect in a light-colored vehicle.

Woodson's injuries were described as life-threatening, and she was rushed to the hospital. On Monday, she was listed in critical condition.

A second person walking with the victim was not shot.
