Man found shot dead overnight in Durham, police say

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Durham police are investigating after a man was shot overnight.

Authorities said it happened after 3 a.m. in the 1900 block of Jersey Avenue.

Upon arrival to the scene, officers found a man who had been shot lying outside. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The case is under investigation.
