Man surrenders after barricading himself in Durham hotel room

DURHAM, N.C. (WTVD) -- Police said a man has surrendered after barricading himself inside a hotel room Wednesday night.

The barricade happening at an Extended Stay America on the 3000 block of Tower Boulevard.

Officials said the man is wanted on several felony warrants.

After a five hour standoff, the man finally came out with an unidentified woman around 9:30 p.m.
