Local woman fulfills adoption dream

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- A local woman is fulfilling her dream of becoming a mom thanks to a local adoption agency.

But "Rhiannon" had a tough journey through the adoption process.

The dream turned into a nightmare after the Independent Adoption Center filed for bankruptcy earlier this year.

But her luck turned around when an agency called A Child's Hope swooped in after connecting with families abandoned by IAC over Facebook.

A Child's Hope is actively recruiting parents hoping to adopt. They say they have an influx of birth mothers considering adoption.
