Fayetteville police investigating late night shooting

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Fayetteville police said a man was shot late Saturday night.

It happened just after 10 p.m. in the 300 block of Eastern Boulevard.

When police arrived they found Antonio Lavon Campbell, 22, lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.

He was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and is in critical condition.

Police said they identified 18-year-old Lamrious Ja Ron Brown as a person of interest in connection to the shooting.
