Fayetteville police: Victim kidnapped, sexually assaulted by 3 men

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Detectives are looking for the three men who reportedly kidnapped and raped a female victim Wednesday in Fayetteville.

Police said around 10 p.m. Wednesday, the victim was walking in the area of Longhorn Drive near Westover High School. A vehicle of unknown make and model pulled up near her, and three men got out. The men forced the victim into the vehicle with handguns. The suspects then reportedly blindfolded the victim and drove to an abandoned home in Godwin, N.C.

Authorities said the suspects sexually assaulted the victim in the abandoned home. The victim was able to break free and fled from the suspects on foot. She ran to a nearby neighbor's house to seek help, and the neighbors immediately called 911.

The suspects were described as the following:

  • Black male, dark skin tone, mid 30s-40s, heavy set build, 6 feet - 6 feet 2 inches in height, with a beard.
  • Black male, dark skin tone, mid 30s-40s, heavy set build, 6 feet - 6 feet 2 inches in height, and clean shaven.
  • Black male, light skin tone, mid 30s-40s, slender build, 5 feet 8 inches - 5 feet 9 inches in height, with a mustache.

Police did not release the victim's age.

Detectives are asking for the public's help identifying and locating the suspects.
