Fayetteville police hope to ID armed robbers
FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- The Fayetteville Police Department has put out several surveillance photos in hopes they will lead detectives to a pair of armed robbers.
Just before 9 p.m. Tuesday, the men came into the RJ Tobacco Mart located at 407 Hope Mills Road with their faces covered and brandishing pistols.
Police say they robbed two employees and a customer in the store, as well as took money from the cash register drawers.
They then fled on foot toward Watauga Manor Apartments.
