Wake County Commission approves $1.1 billion budget

WAKE COUNTY, N.C. (WTVD) -- The Wake County Commission approved a $1.1 billion budget on Friday.

The budget includes a property tax increase of 3.65 cents per $100 and the largest funding increase ever for the Wake County Public Schools System.

The approved budget is still $3.7 million short of the $48 million the Wake County School Board asked for.
