Crews battle brush fire in southern Wake County near Holly Springs

HOLLY SPRINGS, NC (WTVD) -- Firefighters battled a wildfire in southern Wake County on Friendship Road south of U.S. 1 near Holly Springs Monday afternoon.

Pictures from Chopper 11 HD showed crews working at the scene. Firefighters made a line around the fire to contain it.

Fire crews used Chopper 11 HD as their eyes in the sky to understand where the fire was spreading.
