Man rescued from Nebraska flood

DESHLER, Nebraska (WTVD) -- Heavy rain caused flooding in southern Nebraska and nearly swept a man away.

The man had been boarding up his house when he found himself stranded by the high water.

When rescuers showed up, he was on the second floor waiting for help to arrive.

Firefighters used ropes to lead him to safety.
