Frontier Airlines adds 8 new destinations coming out of RDU

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Frontier Airlines is making a major expansion at RDU.

The airline will add eight more destinations this spring.

The destinations will include non-stop flights to Columbus, Jacksonville, and Tampa.

Frontier is also adding five destinations in the Northeast: Philadelphia, Boston, Hartford, Albany, and Long Island MacArthur Airport, which is east of Manhattan.

The expansion makes Frontier RDU's largest airline in terms of destinations offered.
