FUQUAY-VARINA, N.C. (WTVD) -- Fuquay-Varina police are recognizing one of their own for a job well done.
Officer Kevin Boyd received an award Tuesday night for saving a toddler who was choking on food and could not breathe.
The department credits Officer Boyd's training and quick thinking in helping to clear the child's airway.
