Stolen car crashes into Garner pawn shop

GARNER, N.C. (WTVD) -- Police said a suspect is on the run after crashing a stolen car into a Garner pawn shop Sunday.

Garner police said it happened around 5 a.m. at Arrow Pawn on Highway 70. The car was reportedly stolen from somewhere near Holly Springs.

The suspect drove the car to Garner and then into the store. The suspect got away before law enforcement arrived.

Police have not said if anything was stolen from the pawn shop.

No one was inside the store at the time of the incident.

Authorities are still investigating and searching for the suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call Garner police.
