Thousands Race for the Cure in Raleigh

RALEIGH (WTVD) -- Thousands of people showed up for the Komen Triangle Race for the Cure in Raleigh on Saturday.

The event raises money and awareness for the fight against breast cancer.

More than 7,500 people took part in the race.

Organizers said they've raised more than $844,000 to find cures for breast cancer.
