ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. (WTVD) -- Four people, including an infant, were injured after a shooting along a highway in Rocky Mount early Sunday.
It happened just before 1:30 a.m. on eastbound Highway 64 Bypass near the Raleigh Street exit.
According to authorities, an adult, two kids and an infant were shot at while traveling down the highway. At least two, one of which was the infant, were in serious condition when they arrived at the hospital. One of the children was upgraded to fair condition Monday, but the infant remained in serious.
Meanwhile, police have not released any details surrounding the shooting, but they did say that it did not seem like a random incident.
