Hit-and-run driver sought in Fayetteville

FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- A man is in serious condition after being injured in a hit-and-run accident.

The incident happened Friday night around 9:20 p.m. on Ruby Road near Garnett Drive in Fayetteville.

Investigators said 29-year-old Curtis Wright was struck by a 2015 silver or light gray Ford Fusion while standing on the road. The vehicle should have front end damage and may also have damage to the windshield.

Wright was transported to UNC Hospital in Chapel Hill.
