FAYETTEVILLE (WTVD) -- Authorities in Cumberland County are looking for a hit-and-run driver who hit a school bus Wednesday evening.
The bus was stopped on U.S. Highway 401 when authorities said a car in a no passing zone pulled out and tried to pass the bus. The bus driver didn't see the car and clipped it.
The car then lost control and hit a fence.
The driver jumped out and ran away. At last report, authorities were still looking for the driver.
Four students were on the bus, but no one was hurt.
